Album Review: A Bee Gees Christmas

A Bee Gees Christmas album cover

Bee Gees Christmas music? Well, not in the traditional sense, but this album has a very nice feel to it, with a distinctively festive air. The listener is clued in immediately that this is not just a collection of seasonal songs with the same mixes that are available on other albums; a special touch was added to each of them.

Of particular interest to this writer is the album's interpretation of Toys, with its addition of bells to the percussion. The double tracking effect on First Of May is also especially good. Jingle Jangle is yet another fine track, with the addition of both bells and its special beat. But don't just take my word for it. Get this album for your collection. You'll be glad you did.
